Evan Wherle and Emily Andrews
How did you meet?
We actually met back in the spring of 2012 at a dinner at a friend's house. Our group of mutual friends would hangout every few months over the next 3 years, but it wasn't until we rode to a wedding this past December together that things really changed. There had always been an attraction but driving to the wedding that night was the first time we really got to spend time just the two of us. I realized the girl of his dreams had literally been right in front of my face this whole time, so over the next few months I tried to win her over. I guess it all worked, because we started officially dating in March 2015.
How did you propose?
We went out to dinner downtown on a Friday night, Emily thinking it was just a normal date night. But at the restaurant before we ate, I got up to "use the bathroom" and snuck out the back of the restaurant. The waiter then brought Emily an envelope with a note telling her to get ready for a little fun adventure and to follow the clues to find me at the end. Her first stop was the huge Christmas tree at Triangle Park where she had to find a gift with her name on it. That clue lead her across the street over to the Hilton Hotel where she found a few more clues and her sister Abby (who had flown in to surprise her from North Carolina). Next there was a driver waiting outside who took the girls to Charlie Brown's where Emily and I had our first date. And a final clue hidden in the bookshelves there led her to The Livery. I was waiting inside surrounded by candles (because candles make everything more romantic duh!). We cried, I told her I loved her and finally asked her to marry me. She ecstatically said yes! I had been planning it for awhile and it was so fun to see it all come together and then to celebrate with all of our friends and family afterwards!
The Faithful Platform:
Austin made the process extremely easy and helped me with every step. I was able to get exactly what she wanted and save hundreds of dollars less than any other store I priced it at. The when he hand delivered the ring to me I was shocked at how beautiful it was. It was even better than I could have imagined. Austin is genuinely in this to help people and I highly recommend him!
